  I stayed for one night with my wife and two young children. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was ok and there was a nice atmosphere in the bar area. The building is quite grand however needs some revonovation as it's seen better days. It was perfect for our one night stay. Excellent location in Southport.

  We were a party of 6 travelling with National Holidays Mon -Fri. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the trips to Chester & Liverpool too. Our driver Sharon was very good and helpful.
  The hotel & rooms were more than acceptable, and the staff were polite & approachable. The food was very good indeed especially the breakfast, enjoyed the evening entertainment too.
  Returning next year.

  It was ok stay we had nice enough room but I didn't get right beds it said on my reservation. We got two doubles instead of a double and two singles. The live entertainment starts way too late and it is very noisey on the first floor where we were. I see this has been pointed out to them before on other reviews. We watch it second night instead of trying to get sleep before 10.30 as I have children maybe not the best. The act was ok but the only thing I can suggest is that he tone the volume down as it was way too loud and that is why the hotels guest is are complaining about it! And maybe start earlier so your guest can enjoy it as most people I spoke to old and family thought start time at 9pm to 10.30pm too late to make that sort of volume of music and unfriendly to your guess. I also thought parking a little high for guess my reservation said £2 night but it as high as £4 a night. The bar staff was friendly but left on his own most of time I saw him trying serve everyone.
